Uninsured and unlicensed drivers targeted

Nearly two hundred drivers were caught last week in a Police Scotland initiative targeting unlicensed and uninsured drivers. As part of the initiative, the police used powers under Section 165A of The Road Traffic Act 1988, which allows them to seize the vehicles of motorists caught driving without insurance or a licence.
